Don't get it wrong, I will get my truck fixed and I will come back to compete. I live only three miles from Hawhill and often attend your races instead of my home track because of atmosphere and competition. I am writing this in hopes that you guys put more enphasis on track upkeep and preperation. If the racers are having fun, making good passes and able to keep trucks together, then I believe the fans will come. I think you guys do a good job, but with many things in life there is a lot of room for improvement.

I went to the race last night, first of the season, eager to see whats was new. My truck is not in race shape yet, but wanted to support the track and see some good racing. When I arrived I was greeted with a good croud of trucks, some alumni and some new. I was very disappointed in track conditions on all pits. I was actually thankful that I didnt work my butt off to get my stuff ready to go. switching the small and big tracks didnt make much sense to me and both pits were terrible. If memory serves correct, only one truck went out in the old big pit and less than a handful went out in the old small pit. I know that equipment failure was the cause of some DNF's however I noticed most distances were less than 100 feet. As a fan, I would like to see trucks compete against each other in measurements of time and not distance. As a racer the track conditions were less than par, not very much fun to drive and the track appeared to be the cause for equipment failure.

What's up fellow racers?? I need a hand in a bad way....... the only fuel cell I have for the truck I am going to run this season, has deteriorating foam!!! Anyone got a good cell they want to cell or can let me use for the first race?? If I borrow one, I will have back to you on the second race. :D If anyone needs any 6 lug rims I have 4-15X14 2-15X12 2-15X10. Have a 208 tranfercase to go on a 400 turbo.
GM 14 bolt with the dana 44 front
stock powerglide trans
For the ford guys I pulled a 460 with C6 trans and tanfercase.Also a set of inner axles for dana 60

:D Just set my motor and trans back in the jeep. Has anyone heard of any new B mod and C mod trucks this year?
